On Independence Day, Ukraine hosted a significant event in the field of defense cooperation that vividly demonstrated the country’s ambitions to strengthen national security and develop a robust defense industry.

Initiated by the President of Ukraine, the Defence Cooperation Forum: Future Warfare took place as a platform for presenting Ukrainian innovations in military technology to international partners.

The event attracted representatives from the European Union, NATO, the United Kingdom, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Romania, all of whom were astonished by Ukraine’s broad range of developments, including precision missiles, drones, robotic systems, and modern intercepting devices for ‘kamikaze’ drones.

During the forum, discussions focused on avenues for further integration of Ukraine into the European defense industry, as well as promising cooperation projects.

Notably, Brave1 EU already offers foreign manufacturers opportunities to test their solutions in combat conditions and receive valuable feedback.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, led by Mykhailo Fedorov, emphasizes the rapid integration of our country into European defense supply chains and the expansion of joint programs.

Last year, Ukraine became the first European country to successfully test the Starlink Direct to Cell technology, which enables satellite communication for any smartphone and allows sending SMS even without mobile coverage.

This represents a significant step toward technological independence and strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
