On Ukraine’s Independence Day, August 24th, the country once again became the target of hostile actions by occupying forces.

The foe, aiming to sow panic and spoil the festive mood of Ukrainians, launched a combined attack using drones and missile systems against our positions.

According to data from the Ukrainian Air Forces, in the night of August 24th, the invaders attempted to strike with the Iskander-M missile system and deployed a total of 72 drones.

Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down or suppress 48 of these unmanned aerial vehicles.

The attack resulted in damage across multiple sites: a missile hit at 10 locations, and 24 drones were also destroyed or neutralized.

This incident clearly demonstrates that Ukraine remains under constant threat, but the resilience of its armed forces and defense systems continues to grow, ensuring protection and security for its citizens.
