Ukrainian defenders eliminate over 840 invaders and five enemy tanks in a single day
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian military forces have continued their intense combat operations on the front lines, successfully targeting enemy personnel and equipment.
According to official data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approximately 840 Russian invaders have been neutralized during this period, showcasing the resilience and effective resistance of Ukrainian defenders.
In addition to human losses, the Ukrainian military has destroyed five more enemy tanks, significantly degrading the enemy’s combat capability in several sectors.
As of August 23, 2025, Russian military losses in Ukraine are estimated to have surpassed 1,075,160 personnel.
Beyond the loss of personnel, Ukraine’s armed forces continue to decimate enemy military hardware: since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost over 11,129 tanks (including five destroyed in the last day), over 23,164 armored vehicles, nearly 32,000 artillery systems, and a wide array of other military equipment, such as multiple rocket launcher systems, air defense assets, aircraft, submarines, and more.
These figures are still being refined, but it is clear that Ukraine is systematically dismantling Russia’s logistical and military capabilities, steadily weakening its offensive power.
