Recent sociological surveys reveal that Ukrainian citizens predominantly prefer incumbent President Volodymyr Zelensky during the upcoming presidential elections.

At the same time, regarding parliamentary elections, the majority of respondents support the idea of creating and backing a hypothetical new political force led by Valery Zaluzhny.

According to data from the «Rating» sociological group commissioned by the Center for Analysis and Sociological Research of the International Republican Institute, respondents’ preferences show that 31% plan to vote for Zelensky, while 25% are inclined to support Zaluzhny.

Other potential candidates like Petro Poroshenko and Kyryl Budanov collect approximately 6% and 5%, respectively.

Notably, support on the western part of Ukraine is equally distributed between Zelensky and Zaluzhny – both at 27%.

In the age group over 50, Zaluzhny’s support surpasses Zelensky’s by 1% (31% vs.

30%), indicating shifting electoral dynamics.

Regarding approval of Zelensky’s performance as president, 33% highly approve, 32% somewhat approve, while 16% disapprove or strongly disapprove.

When asked about future party support, 22% favor «Zaluzhny’s Party», 14% «Zelensky’s Bloc», and 8% each support «Azov» and «European Solidarity».

It is notable that «Zaluzhny’s Party» garners wider support across all age groups and almost all regions, except the south, where their support is 19%.

In summary, most Ukrainians express a desire for new political formations in future parliamentary elections, with only 17% satisfied with the current parties.

The survey was conducted nationwide, excluding occupied territories, via telephone interviews with a random sample of mobile numbers, involving 2400 adults.

The margin of error is approximately 2%, typical for such research.
