Massive Shelling of Kramatorsk: Over 30 Explosions in an Hour and New Destruction

Last evening, August 22, the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region once again fell under a powerful missile and artillery attack that lasted over an hour and was accompanied by more than thirty explosions.
According to Oleksandr Honcharenko, head of the Kramatorsk city military administration, this event marked one of the most intense attacks in recent times.
The shelling started at 21:47 and continued until 22:59, rattling the city with loud blasts that left a deep impression on residents.
Over the past day, there have been a total of 41 explosions resulting from enemy strikes, highlighting the ongoing volatility in Kramatorsk and the region in general, where safe zones are increasingly scarce.In addition, previous days saw Russian forces conducting large-scale strikes on residential areas, firing approximately ten explosions at private sectors of the city.
Several civilians were injured — two were hospitalized with moderate wounds, and one suffered minor injuries.
Significant damage to numerous buildings was reported, while rescue and repair teams are working tirelessly to assess and restore affected infrastructure.

Fully destroyed and abandoned shelters pose extreme danger to life and health.” Recent reports indicate that on August 22, Russian troops used FPV drones and bombs to attack multiple towns, including Kostiantynivka, causing damage to private and multi-apartment buildings.
One person was injured in these attacks, according to local authorities.The threat level for civilians remains high, prompting experts to call for increased caution, immediate evacuation during alarms, and the search for shelter.
