According to a recent survey conducted by SW Research for the rp.pl portal, the majority of the Polish population is opposed to the idea of deploying Polish military personnel to Ukraine as part of future peacekeeping forces.

When asked whether Polish soldiers should be part of such peacekeeping missions in Ukraine, over 61% of respondents answered definitively «no».

Only about 17% supported the idea, while roughly 22% remained undecided or unsure.

The strongest opposition was observed among residents of small towns with populations of up to 20,000, where nearly 70% voiced their disapproval, as well as among the youngest age group (68.6%).

Conversely, those who supported the deployment of Polish troops to Ukraine were mostly respondents with basic vocational education (27.2%) and individuals aged 35–49 years (20.9%).

The survey results reveal that the Polish society mainly holds a negative stance towards possible military involvement abroad, which could influence government decisions regarding participation in international peacekeeping missions.
