Andrii Yermak, head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office, recently made a significant announcement regarding transformative changes in the country’s executive structure.

His vision aims to reshape the Presidential Office into a more efficient and agile management tool capable of responding swiftly to modern challenges and supporting the nation during wartime or crises.

During his speech, Yermak disclosed that he proposed to President Volodymyr Zelensky a strategic reform involving a substantial staffing overhaul.

The core idea is to prioritize military personnel with verified combat experience or war veterans, who have endured the hardships of a large-scale conflict, for filled positions at all levels within the Office—from department heads to ordinary staff members, without exception.

Yermak emphasized that this initiative received President Zelensky’s support.

The primary objective of this change is to enable the Office to respond more effectively to contemporary threats, provide quick and coordinated decision-making, and strengthen the country’s resilience in times of war and internal crises.

Further details about the upcoming reforms and other officials’ reactions are expected in the near future.
