Ukraine Receives Record Financial Aid Package from the EU to Support Economy and Recovery

On Friday, August 22, Ukraine took a significant step towards stabilization and development, receiving a substantial financial aid package from the European Union.
The total amount of assistance reached 4.05 billion euros and was allocated through two major programs aimed at supporting Ukraine’s efforts for recovery and integration.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Julia Sviridenko announced via Telegram that one billion euros came under the ERA Loans program, funded from frozen Russian assets, while an additional 3.05 billion euros were directed through the Ukraine Facility, which focuses on rebuilding infrastructure and the economy.
Her statements emphasized the importance of this aid in strengthening the national budget and accelerating the reconstruction process.
Sviridenko expressed gratitude to European partners and assured that this financial support will enable Ukraine to move forward in solidifying its position and building a stronger, united Europe, to which the country aspires.
