In mid-August, Kyiv will implement temporary traffic restrictions in its city center.

These measures are part of security arrangements related to the upcoming visits of foreign delegations scheduled for this period.

According to information provided by the Ukrainian Department of State Security and the Kyiv City Administration via their official Telegram channel, on Friday, August 22, transportation in the city center will face temporary bans or restrictions to ensure the safety of high-ranking officials and to prevent potential provocations.

The measures include establishing dedicated corridors for foreign delegations and enhanced security for key sites.

City residents and visitors are urged to understand and accommodate these temporary limitations, recognizing their critical role in safeguarding public safety during high-security events.

An official representative of the Kyiv City Administration calls on everyone to plan their routes accordingly in order to avoid delays and inconveniences in daily life during this period.
