According to sources, a sharp confrontation erupted between head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi and team captain Andriy Yarmolenko, which could have serious repercussions for the squad.
Ukrainian journalist Ihor Burbas reported this in his video blog.According to his information, the conflict arose during a training session before a decisive Champions League qualifying game against Cypriot club Paphos.
The coach was dissatisfied with Yarmolenko’s effort and behavioral conduct during training, describing it as inadequate and rough.
As a result, Shovkovskyi abruptly demanded that the captain leave the session in a harsh manner.
Yarmolenko responded calmly and silently, and continued to prepare for the upcoming match on his own.The situation is compounded by Dynamo’s recent results in European fixtures.
