Kharkiv Experiences Night of Tension: Russian Drones Attack the City Under Darkness

On the evening of August 22, Kharkiv was once again shaken by explosions, highlighting the ongoing escalation of hostilities in eastern Ukraine.

Around 2:00 a.m., residents of the city reported hearing powerful blasts, believed to have emanated from the outskirts.

According to local media and eyewitnesses, earlier at 1:20 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Forces issued warnings about incoming unmanned aerial vehicles targeting Kharkiv.

By 1:59 a.m., it was confirmed that the threat of kamikaze drones remained high, with activity reported in the northern and southern parts of the region, along routes heading east and north.

Subsequently, at 2:10 a.m., reports confirmed multiple additional explosions, likely outside the city limits, indicating a renewed offensive in the area.

This night exemplifies the persistent tension and volatility in Kharkiv and its surroundings, underscoring the critical importance of vigilance among residents as the conflict continues to intensify.
