In a significant and high-profile case that exemplifies Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to combat traitors and collaborators, a court has handed down sentences to seven individuals whose actions directly supported Russian aggression against Ukraine.

These traitors, who actively participated in combat operations on the Donetsk frontline, were arrested and charged with treason and collaboration.

Investigations revealed that four of them were residents of occupied Luhansk, who knowingly and voluntarily joined Russian militant groups.

Two of them fought in the Vverhnokam’yansky directions, leading assaults against Ukrainian defenders, while another two attacked Ukrainian fortifications in the Novosadove and Terniv districts under Russian command.

The fifth convicted individual is a native of Crimea, who served in the 110th Russian brigade guarding ammunition depots near Avdiivka.

The sixth, a resident of Horlivka, built dugouts for occupying forces near Maryinka and participated in attacking Ukrainian defensive positions towards Pokrovsk.

The seventh man, from Horlivka, fought in the 132nd motorized rifle brigade of Russia and later was captured during battles in the Kursk region.

Based on the gathered evidence, the court found all seven guilty of treason and collaboration activities.

This case highlights the persistent efforts of Ukrainian law enforcement to identify and punish traitors undermining the country’s security.

Recent arrests, including that of an agent of the Russian GRU on Dnipropetrovsk, demonstrate the systematic work to uncover and neutralize enemy agents and internal collaborators.
