Zelensky harshly criticizes Russia’s reaction and emphasizes the need to increase pressure to end the war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his recent address emphasized the essential and non-negotiable nature of exerting pressure on Russia to achieve peace and conclude the ongoing conflict.
According to him, signals coming from Moscow lately are extremely inappropriate and provocative, as Russia tries to evade responsibility for internationally brokered agreements and refuses to engage in constructive dialogue to resolve the war.
Zelensky pointed out that Russia continues its large-scale attacks on Ukrainian positions and infrastructure, including missile strikes on civilian targets such as an American business in Mukachevo. The president stated that these actions are a deliberate attempt to pressure international partners and deter foreign investments, aiming not only against Ukraine but also against the interests of the United States.
He highlighted that given Russia’s aggressive behavior, the only effective approach is to apply maximum pressure and reinforce unity among international allies.
Zelensky stressed that this conflict must be brought to an end, and to do so, diplomatic pressure needs to be intensified. He noted that the United States and other allies are already engaging in consultations regarding further measures to stabilize Ukraine’s security and halt hostilities.
Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts continue actively, aiming to reach negotiations that could bring peace closer.
The Ukrainian leader underscored the significance of diplomacy and diplomacy-based negotiations as essential tools for a swift resolution of the war, emphasizing that the current situation requires not only military aid and financial support but also a dialogue capable of bringing peace.Looking ahead, Zelensky said that each day adds new layers to Ukraine’s future security architecture, which includes military supplies, funding, cooperation with partners, and strengthening defense on land, in the air, and at sea.
He affirmed that efforts on this path will not waver and that new diplomatic initiatives and steps are expected soon to support Ukraine in its fight for independence and sovereignty.
