Ukrainian Forces Reclaim Major Parts of Tovste: Progress in Donetsk Region
The Ukrainian military continues its active operations in the Donbas region, notably in the Novopavlivske direction, where significant advances have been achieved in recent days.
Soldiers of the 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to retake control of a large part of the strategic village of Tovste, previously occupied by Russian troops.
This success resulted from deliberate, coordinated actions involving infantry units, aviation, and artillery working seamlessly together to accomplish their mission.
The operational-strategic grouping of troops ‘Dnipro’ reports that thanks to high tactical professionalism, Ukrainian forces successfully eliminated numerous Russian soldiers both during day and night—using air and land strikes.
Additionally, Ukrainian troops recently liberated the strategically important village of Zolotyi Kolodiaz and cleared the area around Vesela of occupiers near Dobropillia.
It is also noteworthy that the enemy attempted to establish a foothold in the Novopavlivske sector by raising flags in the villages of Andriivka, Klevtsove, and Zelenyi Hai, but all these efforts were quickly neutralized by Ukrainian defenders committed to safeguarding Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
