Trump speaks out on war: victory is impossible without striking the aggressor

Former U.S.
President Donald Trump once again emphasized his steadfast stance regarding the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, asserting that achieving victory in the war is nearly impossible without actively striking the aggressor country.
According to Trump, modern warfare revolves around the principle that to win, one must also attack the invading nation aggressively.
He compared the situation to a sports team with excellent defense but forbidden from offensive play, which jeopardizes victory.
Trump is critical of current U.S.
President Joe Biden, whom he claims has restricted Ukraine solely to defensive actions, preventing it from mounting counterattacks and thus creating an uneven playing field.
He also expressed confidence that, had he been president, the war would not have escalated to such a level, as he believes the conflict could have been avoided altogether.
“I believe we are heading toward tough times, but a new phase of this war will inevitably come,” he stated.
Additionally, Trump noted that a peace agreement could eventually restore Ukraine to stability and allow it to reclaim lost territories, but emphasized that the outbreak of war was avoidable had Ukraine not initiated confrontation.
He urged Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to be flexible during negotiations to end the conflict and expressed confidence in his ability to organize a bilateral meeting between Zelensky and Vladimir Putin, though he would not participate personally.
Trump’s remarks underscore his belief that strategic decisions now can influence the course of peace in the region.
