President Donald Trump has decided to forgo his usual summer holiday plans and canceled his scheduled retreat at his Bedminster club, choosing instead to remain in Washington to personally oversee efforts aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

According to White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt, this period is particularly critical for the president, who is eager to achieve tangible results swiftly in diplomatic negotiations.

While other U.S.

officials typically take vacations during August when Congress is in recess, Trump has been actively engaged in exploring pathways to end the war.

This week, he held a significant meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, and shortly thereafter received Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and various European leaders at the White House.

Sources indicate that there is a strong possibility of organizing a trilateral meeting involving all three leaders, which could be a pivotal step towards diplomatic resolution.

Although specific dates for such talks have yet to be announced, there is considerable interest and anticipation for their rapid realization.

Trump is keen on conducting this trilateral summit as soon as possible, but the timing remains uncertain.

The Biden administration cautiously expresses optimism about the prospects of these negotiations taking place soon.
