Russian Forces Strike Konstantinovka with ‘Smerch’ Rocket System: Destruction, Victims, and Injuries
In the frontline city of Konstantinovka in Donetsk region, occupying Russian troops carried out a powerful attack using the ‘Smerch’ multiple launch rocket system.
The strike resulted in extensive damage to residential neighborhoods, a local market, and critical infrastructure, leading to civilian casualties and injuries.
According to official sources from the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office, three civilians lost their lives—two women aged 40 and 69, and a 32-year-old man.
Four others sustained mine-explosive and shrapnel wounds and received immediate medical assistance.
The attack damaged private and apartment buildings, cars, commercial facilities, and electrical lines.
An investigation has been initiated under criminal proceedings for war crimes under Article 438 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.
Authorities are actively documenting the aftermath and seeking responsible parties for the destruction and loss of life caused by this assault.
