Russian Drones Again Strike Sumy Region: Over a Dozen Injured, Including Children

On the night of August 20, Russian military forces launched a massive drone assault on the Sumy region, particularly targeting the city of Okhtyrka.
The attack caused extensive damage and left 12 civilians injured, including two children.
According to the National Police of Ukraine, the strikes resulted in significant destruction of residential infrastructure, damaging a multi-story apartment building, 13 private homes, outbuildings, and garages.
Emergency teams and bomb disposal units are currently working at the scene, documenting the extent of the destruction, collecting evidence, and providing assistance to those affected.
