Amid recent diplomatic developments from Russia, plans have emerged to revamp the negotiation format with Ukraine, including a proposal to elevate the status of delegation heads at upcoming talks.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that this initiative was discussed following a phone conversation with U.S.

President Donald Trump and aligns with efforts to seek political solutions to the conflict.
