The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine continues to be a stage for intense political conflicts and controversial decisions.

Recent events revolve around MP Maryana Zaegly, who has become the focus of attention due to her provocative statements and behavior during parliamentary sessions.

The Regulation Committee of the Verkhovna Rada made a decision to suspend her from participating in sessions, though this measure was left for the parliament to approve.

MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that the corresponding resolution was supported only after three votes — initially, the committee was not unanimous, but on the third attempt, the majority of members supported the initiative.

Meanwhile, Zaegly herself ignored the committee meetings, which added to the tension.

It is known that the politician has repeatedly faced criticism for controversial remarks both in parliament and in public.

On July 31, deputies called for her exclusion from sessions due to violations of regulations, particularly for deliberately interrupting colleagues’ microphones and engaging in public conflicts.

Her reaction to colleagues’ comments about her past also attracted considerable attention and criticism.

These events are set against the backdrop of political struggles and increasing value-based conflicts within the parliament, significantly impacting the broader political landscape in the country.
