Donetsk Region Remains a Hub of Life: Over 6800 Residents Continue to Stay in Forward-Affected Kostiantynivka Despite Shelling
In the city of Kostiantynivka, located in the Donetsk region, the situation remains extremely tense despite ongoing military activities and regular shelling by Russian forces.
According to official information from the head of the Donetsk Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, more than 6,800 residents are currently staying in the front-line city.
This poses significant concern among governmental and volunteer organizations, as each day brings new threats to civilian life.
Just on August 19, Russian troops carried out multiple airstrikes, dropping ten bombs on the city.
This is in addition to constant threats from FPV drones and artillery shelling.
Vadym Filashkin personally emphasizes that the population must evacuate to avoid further casualties and tragedies.
Recent reports confirm this: on August 20, Russian occupation forces launched another attack, resulting in the deaths of three civilians and injuring four others.
Despite these hardships, life persists: people remain in the city, holding onto hope for a swift end to the war and the return of peace and stability.
