Donald Trump announces preparations for a bilateral meeting between Zelensky and Putin

President Donald Trump made a surprising statement regarding diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
According to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin are actively working on arranging a direct meeting.
Trump mentioned that discussions about such a meeting are already underway and that it is in the process of being organized.In his comments, he emphasized that after separate talks with each leader, he believes a direct conversation between Kyiv and Moscow is essential for finding solutions to the ongoing crisis.
He also noted that various formats are being considered, including the possibility of a trilateral summit; however, the primary focus is on the initial bilateral meeting between Zelensky and Putin.Trump highlighted that preparations for this meeting are progressing actively: “They are in the process of organizing it, but we must stop the constant killings — too many lives have already been lost.” He added that he is waiting for the results of this meeting to determine the next steps and expressed confidence that his previous efforts have already saved hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of lives.
