Zelensky Confirms Preparations for Possible Meeting with Putin and Tripartite Talks Involving the US
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has officially confirmed that active diplomatic negotiations are underway to arrange a future meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Zelensky, the preparatory stages for the meeting are nearing completion, with the primary goal of seeking pathways to cease military actions and achieve peace in Ukraine.
An important part of these efforts includes organizing a tripartite summit involving the presidents of the United States and Russia, with the US actively collaborating on this initiative.Zelensky emphasized that negotiations are currently in the agreement stage among all involved parties.
He highlighted that US President Donald Trump has already engaged with Russian colleagues to discuss possible diplomatic steps aimed at facilitating consensus.The Ukrainian leader’s representative pointed out: “The United States supports the idea of high-level trilateral meetings.
They are proposing to hold such a meeting as soon as possible, but all participants need to agree.”Zelensky added that he personally supports this initiative, and all European leaders have also expressed their backing.
