Zelensky assures: Security guarantees for Ukraine are actively being developed and will soon come into force
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has unequivocally stated that the issue of security guarantees for the nation is currently at an advanced and targeted stage of development in collaboration with international partners.
The head of state emphasized that after several crucial meetings in Washington and Brussels, productive work is underway to establish specific mechanisms that will provide Ukraine with reliable protection and stability in light of future security assurances.
Zelensky announced that main negotiation formats have already been identified; details are being coordinated, and a legal framework for implementing new guarantees is being prepared.
According to him, these guarantees will be entirely feasible and attainable in the near future.
He also expressed gratitude to all international allies for their decisiveness and support, assuring that together Ukraine and its partners will do everything possible to make the path to peace and stability a reality, ensuring the country receives solid security guarantees.
Zelensky highlighted that key to this process are not only political will but also concrete legal and technical measures designed to ensure long-term safety for the Ukrainian people.
He mentioned that this work is ongoing continuously, and in the very near future, specific proposals could emerge to dispel any doubts about the reliability of the guarantee system.
He also believes that this will be decisive in restoring peace quickly and returning Ukrainian territories within the borders of a secure and stable future.
