Ukrainian SBU Drones Strike Russian Ammunition Depots in Luhansk Region
On the night of August 19, Ukrainian special forces launched a precise operation targeting Russian military ammunition depots.
According to the official statement from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), two ammunition warehouses located in the strategically significant town of Bilokurakyne, within the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, were successfully hit.
This town occupies a vital position along a crucial railway line that supplies ammunition from Russia directly to the frontlines, particularly to the Pokrovsk direction.
Preliminary reports indicate that Ukrainian drones conducted at least seven strikes against the enemy depots, causing extensive destruction.
Following the explosions, a large-scale fire erupted, which was recorded by the international FIRMS service, monitoring global fire incidents in real-time.
Ukrainian security agencies emphasize that the process of de-militarizing enemy warehouses and equipment will continue unabated, aiming to weaken the attacking forces and enhance security in the region.
