According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Administration, the incident occurred while the man was outside, making him a victim of a deadly attack.

This is not the first case of violence in the area — just on the morning of August 13, a Russian shelling of Chornobaivka, also in Kherson region, resulted in one death and four injuries.
