Kremlin Organizes Propaganda Tourist Tours for Ukrainian Children: Aiming to Promote Stalin’s Image and Erase Ukrainian National Memory

The Center for National Resistance (CNR) reports that Russian occupation authorities are actively orchestrating new initiatives to influence Ukrainian youth through specially organized cultural and historical activities.
According to CNR, the occupational administration in temporarily occupied Kherson region has been transporting children on ‘historical tours’ as part of the ‘Faces of Victory’ project.
These tours include visits to Soviet-era memorials and museums, such as the Rzhev Memorial, Stalin’s Headquarters, and museums in Moscow and the Moscow region.
Additionally, a quest called ‘Black Jackets,’ inspired by Soviet cinema, is part of this program.
Experts emphasize that these trips are not educational but are aimed at fostering Soviet myths among children and erasing Ukraine’s national history.
The center points out that such transportation of minors constitutes a form of Russification and can be classified as a war crime under international law.
Furthermore, since autumn, Ukrainians in occupied territories will be forced to install Kremlin’s messaging apps that serve as tools for espionage and surveillance, further reinforcing Russia’s influence and control over Ukrainian society.
