Russian Drones Attack Kharkiv: Casualties and Destruction

Amidst a barrage of aerial assaults, the city of Kharkiv was once again struck by Russian drone attacks, leading to tragic loss of life and widespread damage.
According to preliminary reports, one civilian was killed, and at least 15 others were wounded, including children aged 6 and 10.
Kharkiv’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, confirmed that the strikes targeted the Industrial District of the city.
One missile hit a multi-story residential building, causing a powerful explosion that ignited fires in two entrances: one with floors from the second to the fourth, and another on the top floor.
The blast resulted in a significant fire that rapidly spread through the affected sections.
Due to the collapse of ceilings and structural elements, there is a serious risk that people may still be trapped under the debris, making rescue operations urgent.
The details regarding the victims and the full scope of the damage are still being clarified.
This attack was not entirely unexpected: early in the morning, around 5 a.m., residents first heard the ominous sounds of explosions, indicating a new wave of drone strikes aimed at destabilizing the city and continuing the destruction inflicted on the region.
