Russian Drone Attacks Civil Vehicle in Sumy Region: Man Injured

On Sunday evening, in a village of the Miropil community in the Sumy region, a provocative attack was carried out when a Russian drone targeted a civilian vehicle traveling through the area.
According to Oleksandr Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the attack resulted in injuries to a 43-year-old male driver.
The man was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he received professional medical care.
Experts assess his condition as stable, and he will continue treatment on an outpatient basis.
This incident occurred a day earlier, at around 10 p.m.
on August 17, when Russian forces launched a guided aerial bomb strike on the settlement of Novoslobidska, also in the Sumy region.
The attack wounded a 57-year-old woman, who sustained injuries but is currently in a stable condition.
This series of events underscores that the war continues to take lives and destroy peaceful life, despite Ukraine’s and the international community’s efforts to curb the conflict.
