Russian Attack Drones Strike Kharkiv: One Drone Hits Residential Building

Kharkiv was once again rocked by explosions following a series of drone and missile strikes carried out by Russian forces.

The incident occurred on August 18 around 4:45 a.m., when residents heard a loud blast.

Just minutes before, the Ukrainian Air Force had issued a warning about the imminent use of kamikaze drones against the regional capital.

Several UAVs were deployed in quick succession, followed by reports from the city councilor of a second and third explosions in different districts.

Around five o’clock in the morning, the city was shaken by loud noises, causing panic among locals.

Eventually, Kharkiv’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, confirmed that the enemy managed to strike the Industrial district, targeting a multi-storey residential building.

Preliminary information indicates a direct hit on residential property.

Details about casualties and extent of damage are still being clarified, but residents are already discussing the serious consequences of this latest attack.
