High-ranking officials from European nations are increasingly converging on the United States White House, gearing up for a series of crucial diplomatic negotiations regarding the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.

The gathering of European leaders in Washington signals the importance of unified strategic planning and coordinated responses to the escalating crisis.

The first to arrive was NATO Secretary General, Dutch politician Mark Rutte, who landed around 7:15 PM Kyiv time, marking a significant symbol of multinational cooperation on security matters.

Following him, the British Prime Minister, Kır Starmer, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, also made their way into the venue.

Reports suggest that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is planning to be the last to arrive, once all European leaders are already present.

Prior to the main event, Zelensky and his European counterparts held an emergency meeting at the Ukrainian embassy in Washington to align their positions ahead of the upcoming talks with U.S.

President Donald Trump.

Earlier, Zelensky also met with Trump’s special envoy, Keith Kellogg.

The negotiations in the Oval Office are expected to involve five American diplomats, including Trump himself, while Zelensky will be represented by two top officials.

Experts and analysts anticipate these discussions will shape the course of future diplomatic initiatives and military aid support.
