The western part of Kharkiv was once again subjected to a brutal attack by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles.

This nighttime assault turned out to be one of the most destructive recent events: as a result of targeted strikes by «Geran-2» drones, residential buildings in the Industrial district of the city sustained severe damage.

Preliminary reports indicate that at least four residential high-rises were hit, one of which experienced extensive destruction.

Fires broke out in apartments on the first, third, and fifth floors, causing structural collapses and partial building failures.

Tragically, two adults and a child lost their lives in this attack, and it is believed that some people remain trapped under the debris, with the exact number still being clarified.

Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed these details in their official Telegram statements, urging residents to remain vigilant.

Rescue operations are ongoing at the scene, with teams working tirelessly to evacuate victims and assess the damage.

In addition, the attack resulted in damage to six residential buildings and fifteen cars.

Two more enemy drones were shot down during their descent onto the ground in the Industrial district area.

Background information reveals that earlier attacks on Kharkiv resulted in 17 injured people, including a child, and two fatalities.

This latest incident underscores the ongoing suffering caused by the war and highlights the destructive toll on the city’s inhabitants, who continue to face relentless attacks and devastation.
