Details of Trump’s Meeting with Zelensky: Who Represents the US and Ukraine in the White House
According to sources, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is preparing for an upcoming face-to-face meeting with former US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office of the White House.
The British broadcaster BBC reports confirming that, aside from Trump himself, the American delegation will include five senior officials, such as Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House Chief of Staff Suzie Wiles, and special envoys for Ukraine Steve Vittihoff and Keith Kellogg.
On the Ukrainian side, National Security and Defense Council head Rustem Umerov and Presidential Office Chief Andriy Yermak will join the negotiations.
Prior to the meeting, Ukrainian and European leaders held consultations at Ukrainian diplomatic missions to prepare for this significant event.
Zelensky also previously held a brief discussion with Trump’s special envoy Keith Kellogg in Washington.
