The Ukrainian government has made a historic decision to broaden social services and privileges for specific categories of citizens, including participants of the Revolution of Dignity, their families, and families of the fallen Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.

This initiative aims to deepen social protection for those who have suffered or sacrificed their lives for the country’s future.

The draft law establishes a special category of citizens entitled to comprehensive assistance, particularly in healthcare, employment, and education sectors.According to the document, this social support package offers free medical services, including prosthetics and rehabilitation, as well as access to necessary medications.

Additionally, participants will have the right to receive state support in obtaining education and employment opportunities.

Financial benefits include pension increases and lifelong payments ranging from 25% to 50% of the living wage, along with annual aid on Independence Day.Importantly, the bill has been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for review and adoption.

The legislative changes also propose significant discounts—up to 100%—on utility bills for people with disabilities, and free access to public transportation.

This is another step by the state towards creating a more just and accessible environment for those who fight for the brighter future of Ukraine.
