Ukraine Secures Bronze and Achieves High Rankings at the 2025 World Games

The Ukrainian national team demonstrated its sporting strength and resilience during the 2025 World Games, reaffirming the high level of Ukrainian sport and the ability of our athletes to compete for top honors.
In the competition held in China, Ukrainian athletes achieved an impressive tally of medals — a total of 44, including 16 gold, 14 silver, and 14 bronze medals.
This outcome allowed Ukraine to secure third place in the overall medal standings, matching its best-ever result at this prestigious international event first achieved in 2022.It is worth noting that China led the medal count with 64 awards, followed by Germany with 45 medals.

Italy with 57; and 5.
France with 38.
These results reaffirm the exceptional performance of Ukrainian athletes, who continue to demonstrate resilience, professionalism, and determination.Ukraine managed to repeat its best performance, previously achieved in 2022 when the team collected 45 medals—16 gold, 12 silver, and 17 bronze—and finished third overall.
The World Games are major international competitions featuring non-Olympic sports, initiated in 1981 in Santa Clara, USA, and since 2001 held under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee.
The event traditionally takes place a year after the Summer Olympics, providing athletes with a vital platform to showcase their skills and pursue new achievements.
