The United States’ Fox News has published a copy of a significant letter sent by First Lady Melania Trump to Russian leader Vladimir Putin through her husband, former President Donald Trump.

The document was exchanged during their summit in Alaska and highlighted a call for mending divisions between nations and safeguarding human dignity.

In her letter, Melania urged Putin to «protect children» and foster world harmony.

She emphasized that every child dreams equally — of love, safety, and a future — regardless of their country or social status.

The letter conveyed a profound sense of responsibility for current and future generations, urging leaders to create a world filled with dignity and peace.

Importantly, the content of the letter did not mention the Ukraine conflict or any related issues.

According to Fox News, Putin read the letter immediately in the presence of both delegations, emphasizing its significance.

Experts believe this correspondence was drafted just before Trump’s meeting with Putin in Anchorage, and Melania herself did not participate directly in the trip.

It is also known that Trump publicly described his wife’s influence on his Ukraine policy as «neutral».

Additionally, efforts to return kidnapped Ukrainian children remain a critical diplomatic issue, but this theme was notably absent from Melania’s peace message.
