Large Queue Forms at the Hungary-Ukraine Border: Only Three Vehicles Per Hour Make It Through

At the Ukraine-Hungary border near the popular Luzhanka checkpoint in Zakarpattia region, a significant line of cars has formed, causing frustration among drivers and dissatisfaction with the crossing conditions.

According to eyewitnesses, the situation leaves much to be desired – vehicles are trying to move, but progress is painfully slow, with only about three cars passing per hour.

Travelers have been waiting for more than eight hours, enduring scorching sun and lacking proper infrastructure at the checkpoint.Drivers complain about the inaction of border authorities and the absence of information regarding document processing status.

There is a shortage of water among those in line, and the paperwork procedures are dragging on, which many deem unacceptable given the prolonged waiting times.

Considering the current pace of processing, crossing the border could take over a day, adding stress and discomfort to travelers.Many vehicles intermittently honk in protest, but there has been no response from border officials – movement is nearly halted, and the situation raises concerns.

Witnesses report extensive traffic jams and dissatisfaction among those eager to cross quickly.
