On Monday, August 18th, the Ukrainian government is set to officially present its new comprehensive action plan aimed at strengthening national security, economic resilience, and social support systems.

This initiative marks a crucial step towards ensuring stability and fostering development across the country, with key focus areas including defense capabilities, industrial growth, support for veterans and internally displaced persons, as well as energy security.

Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko emphasized that the government’s activities are exclusively directed towards assisting Ukrainian citizens and addressing contemporary challenges.

During her remarks, she stated: “Our priorities remain unchanged: strengthening our defense forces, advancing high-tech weapons production, supporting vulnerable populations, front-line regions and internally displaced persons, maintaining a stable economic policy, and ensuring energy security and recovery.” Additionally, news emerged regarding an ongoing audit of resource users conducted by the Ministry of Economy and State Geology Service, focusing on strategically important mineral deposits.

Another significant development is the progress on the US agreement concerning mineral resources, which will only come into practical effect once the United States makes its initial investment.

According to Sviridenko, to implement these agreements, Ukraine requires investments ranging from five to ten billion US dollars to facilitate sustainable development and long-term stability.
