The opening fixtures of the new season in Spain’s top football division have delivered exciting moments, notably including the impressive performance of Ukrainian footballer Viktor Tsygankov.
In the match where his team, Girona, hosted Rayo Vallecano, the Ukrainian winger demonstrated his skill and vision by contributing a crucial assist during a pivotal moment in the game.
On the 57th minute, Tsygankov broke down the flank and delivered a precise pass into the penalty box, from which Joel Roca fired into the net, marking an important goal amidst a tense match.Throughout the game, Tsygankov maintained high levels of focus and physical readiness, showcasing why he remains a key player for Girona.

Despite his efforts, he was unable to save a penalty taken by the opponent, but later on, he made a spectacular save, engrossing fans and analysts alike. This marks Tsygankov’s third season with Girona after transferring from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2023.
Last season, the club finished 16th in La Liga, and this season is expected to bring new opportunities and challenges for the talented Ukrainian midfielder and his teammates.Additionally, recent transfer news includes PSG’s announcement of signing Ukrainian defender Zabarni, along with other significant updates across European clubs.
