The concluding phase of the third matchday of the Ukrainian Premier League took place from August 15 to August 18, bringing intense battles, unexpected outcomes, and spectacular goals.

On the first day of the round, Lviv’s «Rukh» hosted «Obolon» in a fierce contest, with the visitors emerging victorious with a score of 2:1.
Goals were scored by Liakh (62nd minute) for «Rukh» and Ustymenko (27th minute) along with Sukhanov (74th minute) for «Obolon».
The following day, football action shifted to Oleksandria, where the local team «Oleksandriya» faced «Metalist 1925».
This match ended with a confident win for the home team, 4:1, with goals from Zhohta (87th minute), Kaluzhny (48th minute), Rashitsa (76th minute), and Hadzhiev (90 and 90+3 minutes).

Last season, Kyiv’s «Dynamo» became champion for the first time, while «Olexandriya» achieved a historic second place, and Shakhtar secured third position, fueling anticipation for the upcoming matches.
