Former US President Donald Trump recently made a high-profile announcement regarding a planned diplomatic format of negotiations set to take place in the near future.

According to him, after a personal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin — which he described as ‘very good’ and a diplomatic success — he intends to organize a tripartite summit involving the leaders of the United States, Russia, and Ukraine.

This development is seen as a logical extension of his diplomatic initiatives, especially following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the US capital.Trump emphasized that the primary goal should be to establish an immediate peace agreement capable of ending the ongoing war and eliminating any attempts to prolong the conflict through ineffective ceasefires.

He stated that peaceful negotiations are the only path toward long-term stability and security for all parties involved. The former president mentioned that after bilateral talks with Zelensky, he plans to welcome him to the White House in the second half of August 18.

At the same time, he did not specify whether the meeting with Putin would be bilateral or tripartite, but noted that everything depends on how the situation develops and further agreements.

In the context of calls for peace and stability, he stressed that every step toward a peace deal is crucial for maintaining peace and our future security.
