The National Sanctuary «Sofia Kyivska» in Kyiv continues to host the prestigious International Bouquet Kyiv Stage high arts festival, which has already established itself as one of the key cultural events of the year for the capital and beyond.

The second day of the festival proved to be exceptionally diverse and rich, bringing together various genres and artistic expressions that reflect the richness of Ukrainian culture alongside modern international trends.A centerpiece of the evening was the staging of «Conversation of Birds», created by the theatrical collective «Slovo i Holos» under the direction of Natalia Polovinka.

Held in the garden of Sofia Kyivska, the performance transformed the space into a mystical atmosphere, revealing profound spiritual and cultural meanings of the Ukrainian people.

The event featured the «Koreya Kozatska» ensemble, performances by Taras Kompanychuk and the Steppe Singing Laboratory «Evsan-Zillya», as well as renowned actresses and singers, forming a unique microcosm of poetry and music.Another significant highlight was the jazz concert by the talented Israel-based Tal Gamlieli Trio, led by prominent bassist Tal Gamlieli.

Known globally, the group has previously performed at major festivals and venues such as the Love Supreme Jazz Festival (UK), Jazz Dock (Czech Republic), and the Smalls Jazz Club in New York City.

Over the years, the band has released several successful albums and received high praise from critics, including recognition from DownBeat Magazine, which awards outstanding jazz performances.According to the festival organizer, a founding member of the «House of Master Class», the platform aims to promote Ukrainian culture and foster cultural connections on an international level.

Such events catalyze the development of Ukrainian arts on the global stage, contributing to its recognition worldwide. The festival extends beyond Kyiv, with notable editions held in Oxford, UK, in 2022, as a sign of international support for Ukraine during wartime, and in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2023, honoring Georgian soldiers and allies supporting Ukraine.

The upcoming years promise even more diverse locations and formats, including the Kyiv Art Sessions in the UK.As a form of cultural diplomacy, the festival offers free events in Ukraine and charity programs abroad, strengthening international cultural ties and promoting Ukrainian art, an invaluable tool amid contemporary geopolitical challenges.
