Republican Senator Lindsey Graham expressed confidence that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine could be concluded as early as 2025, provided a high-level trilateral meeting takes place involving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, U.S.

President Donald Trump, and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

According to Graham, if such a diplomatic summit occurs, it might become the key step toward ending the war before the Christmas holidays.

He emphasized that this meeting would lay the groundwork for a quick peace settlement in Europe and a return to normal life.

In the absence of such a summit, he warned that the U.S.

could impose severe sanctions and take other drastic measures against Russia, including those targeting energy trade. These predictions are set against the backdrop of changing international diplomatic relations.

Notably, the introduction of tariffs on Indian imports and increased arms supplies to Ukraine are factors encouraging Putin to resume negotiations to avoid deeper economic sanctions and isolation.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelensky announced his upcoming trip to the United States this Monday to meet with Donald Trump.

He supported the idea of a trilateral meeting and stressed that major issues can be effectively discussed only at the leadership level, which could accelerate the conflict resolution process.
