During a phone call with leaders of the U.S.
and Ukraine, Trump emphasized: “I believe that reaching a quick peace agreement is better than just a ceasefire.” In response, Ukrainian President Zelensky shared details of his talks with Trump and European leaders, and announced plans to visit Washington on Monday, August 18.
