The recent summit in Alaska has become a focus of numerous discussions and analyses, yet it is still too early to speak about concrete results that could significantly impact the situation around Ukraine.

Former Foreign Minister and diplomat Vadym Prystaiko points out that the final press conference revealed many misunderstandings and hints that, for now, Ukrainian interests remain overlooked, and signed documents or statements are more about formalities than genuine agreements.

According to him, Putin appears more prepared and focused on his objectives, while Trump limited himself to general comments, raising questions about his stance.

However, experts do not exclude that more intensive negotiations might have taken place behind closed doors, and final decisions could be made later during upcoming meetings in Washington.

Politologist Grem believes Ukraine needs to brace for a long-term, complex process in seeking ways to resolve the conflict, with European representatives’ presence bringing an additional balance to the negotiations.

Overall, experts agree that there are no clear signs that Trump has made a decisive choice regarding Ukraine, and the main issues now are timing and further diplomatic efforts to achieve a fair peace settlement.
