On the night in Alaska, an incredibly tense meeting took place between U.S.

President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, becoming one of the most talked-about events in recent years.

The summit was held at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Anchorage, the largest military installation in Alaska.

The discussions were intense, and the outcomes of this encounter have become a subject of numerous analyses and media comments.

Trump, who emphasized the importance of dialogue before the meeting, summarized it with a ’10 out of 10′ rating.

However, many experts and media outlets consider this meeting a disgrace for the United States, as they claim that Putin came, pushed through his stance, and quickly left the negotiations, leaving Washington in disappointment.Russian representatives included Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, Defense Minister Sergey Balousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, and Special Presidential Envoy for Economic Cooperation Kirill Dmitriev.

On the American side, delegates included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Finance Minister Scott Bessent, Commerce Minister Howard Lutnik, alongside Trump’s special envoy Steve Vittkoff and CIA Director John Rettkoff.

The main topics discussed were territorial exchanges and potential peace efforts concerning Ukraine, but no concrete agreements were reached.

After the summit, Trump called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Official statements remain reserved, but in an interview afterward, he noted that the discussions with Putin mainly resulted in agreements on ending the war through territorial swaps and security guarantees from the USA.

Ultimately, the decision now hinges on Ukraine and Zelensky’s stance.

Summing up, this event had profound implications for international relations, raising many questions about future developments and the balance of power.
