Russian Troops Station Over 50,000 Soldiers in Kursk Region and Intensify Assault Operations

The ‘Steel Border’ brigade has disclosed detailed information about the Russian military presence in the Kursk region.
According to Ivan Shevtsov, the brigade’s chief press officer, Russia maintains approximately 50,000 soldiers in the area, with continuous replenishment and rotations.
Russian forces are actively conduct-ing assault operations, launching multiple attacks daily.
In the past 24 hours, the invaders carried out six assaults, all of which Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled.
Shevtsov stated that Russian troops suffer significant losses in this direction: about 10 soldiers are eliminated daily, with another 20 suffering injuries.
The statement also highlighted that other brigades are heavily involved in destroying enemy forces.
Additionally, North Korea is planning to send a further 6,000 soldiers along with 50 to 100 pieces of military equipment to bolster Russian positions in the Kursk region.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasized that this operation demonstrates Ukraine’s ability to act preemptively and demoralize the enemy.
Meanwhile, Air Assault Forces Commander Oleg Apostol noted that the primary goal was to prevent Russia from launching offensive actions in the Sumy region and to force the occupying forces to deal with internal issues on their own territory.
