Recently, the Donetsk region authorities made the critical decision to significantly enlarge the list of settlements subject to mandatory evacuation due to escalating security concerns.

This expansion includes not only urban areas but also several rural communities, whose populations are increasingly at risk from ongoing military actions.

According to the resolution adopted by the regional commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergency situations, families with children from the city of Druzhkivka and neighboring communities, specifically villages such as Andriivka, Varvarivka, Novoandriivka, and Rohanske, are now required to evacuate.

The primary goal of this measure is to safeguard civilian lives, as the enemy continues daily shelling, causing significant destruction across the region.

Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, emphasized that these evacuation measures are vital for protecting residents’ lives and health.

The evacuation protocols are already in place, with law enforcement agencies, local authorities, and regional officials actively involved in orchestrating the process.

Reassuringly, evacuated families will be provided with housing and safe conditions during their displacement.

The regional leadership urges residents not to delay or hesitate, encouraging early evacuation to ensure safety for themselves and their loved ones.

Earlier, evacuation efforts had already commenced in 14 other settlements across the Dobropilsk and Bilozerka communities, underlining the increasing threat level in the region.
