Zelensky: Russian occupiers’ losses are approximately three times higher than Ukrainian ones – key figures and assessments

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently disclosed alarming and crucial data concerning the losses suffered by Russian troops and military engagements on the front line.
According to him, the ratio of losses between the occupiers and Ukrainian forces is now roughly three to one, meaning that Russian casualties are three times higher than Ukrainian defenders’ losses.
This statement was made in the context of ongoing battles as Ukraine continues its fight to preserve territorial integrity and endeavours to reduce these significant losses.
Zelensky highlighted that Russian forces are losing about a thousand soldiers daily, with more than 500 killed, while the remainder are wounded or captured.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s own daily military losses amount to approximately 340 soldiers, including 18 killed, 243 wounded, and 79 missing in action.
Additionally, the President pointed out that the disparity in artillery ammunition is around 1 to 2.4 in favor of the enemy, indicating a clear advantage for Russian artillery.
However, Ukrainian FPV drones are demonstrating higher efficiency—at a ratio of approximately 1 to 1.4 in favor of Ukraine.
Zelensky emphasized the urgent need for additional funding and support from European partners to secure full tactical superiority, suggesting that even with a ratio of 1 to 4, Ukraine could maintain dominance in combat.
He stressed that such strategic and logistical advantages are vital for achieving victory and minimizing Ukrainian casualties.
