Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a statement on the evening of August 11, emphasized that Ukrainian intelligence and military have not detected any signals indicating that Russian troops are preparing to cease hostilities or move towards stabilization measures in the post-war settlement.

Instead, according to the leader of Ukraine, Russian forces are actively repositioning their troops, suggesting preparations for new large-scale offensive operations.

Zelensky also highlighted that Ukraine continues to inform its partners about the real situation at the front, as well as Russia’s plans and intentions in diplomacy and further actions.

The head of state stressed that Vladimir Putin is deliberately not preparing for a ceasefire or peace agreement; rather, his goals are aimed at using the current situation for political and strategic advantage, while demonstrating readiness for another wave of military actions.

Zelensky added that Ukraine remains engaged with international partners, providing regular updates on the battlefield and focusing on diplomatic efforts to counter and prevent further Russian aggression.
